It’s been said that a person’s vocation often reveals itself at an early age. My love of writing surfaced as early as the second grade when I won a writing contest for a short story titled, “The Man Who Would Not Take a Bath.” A year later, my entrepreneurial spirit ignited, and I launched a neighborhood publishing venture known as The Green Ridge Gazette. The newspaper, which featured local news and a “Know Your Neighbor” column, sold for 10 cents a copy. Many years later, writing is my vocation, and there is not a day that I don’t love “going to work.” Perhaps you’ll give me the opportunity to put my writing skills to work for your business or publication.

For the past five years, Lori Murray has been the feature writer for the commemorative program for The New Albany Classic Invitational Grand Prix & Family Day, which was founded by Abigail S. Wexner and benefits the Columbus Coalition Against Family Violence. Lori’s writing skills bring depth and clarity to her work, resulting in informative and entertaining reading. She is a gifted professional, a pleasure to work with and an integral part of the successful branding of The New Albany Classic.
